The phone call leaked by insider yesterday is pretty damning. Joe pretty much told the affie prez to lie for a better public opinion. I'm starting to think that the White House and whoever is in charge plan to use the Afghanistan withdrawal as an optic to lift the Biden presidency out of its already poor approval rating. Is adherence to the August 31st date had it gone successfully would have been counted in the media and culminated in a huge 20th anniversary 9/11 celebration. That would certainly change America's perspective as Joe likes to say on his performance in office.

Especially when it doesn’t go well, I’ve seen two mishaps with planes and was involved in one collision with another ship where we fought fires on our ship for many hours and the other ship destroyed:

That's because Trump isn't the POTUS. There was plenty of dissent in 2018 when the withdrawal was announced. The hawks have never wanted to leave the billion dollar machine.
