Have you tried the Columbian Gold grown by Stone Mountain and sold in WA state rec stores? I was skeptical, but it tastes and smells and stones exactly like the original to me. It's freaking excellent, as is their C99.

Here's a photo of the Stone Mountain Colombian Gold. A friend grew this stuff way back in the seventies indoors and I can say without hesitation this version is the real deal. I have no idea where they got the genetics, it's hardly the sort of thing most growers want to deal with growing, it's slow to mature and the yield isn't great. The analytics say it's 13% THC, which is on the low side for modern pot, but it still seems plenty strong to me and the buzz is really sweet.
