my try at outdoor mushrooms

Post by Lrus007 »

the 2 agar plates are looking pretty covered.
so soon will make my own bags to infect.
1 bag will be alder chips soaked.
2nd bag will be boiled popcorn so it does not sprout.
maybe 3rd bag of cardboard wetted down.
it should take on all 3. then when bags are
infected. will add all over my chip pile.

an easy way of starting the cyanences is cardboard, yeah this strain is that hardy, doesnt care about other funghi, and cardboard is like "soft wood"

on the other hand, i havent seen many semilicantea grows, only wild cow shit specimens

im watching your daily dose of 4-HO-DMT

yeah
awoken the right way

been debating today.
think i will put all my eggs in one basket .
i will mix boiled un popped popcorn, alder chips
cardboard, egg carton together and do in a 2 1/2
gal ziplock bag. after mixed might toss into pressure
cooker to kill any nasties. or in a large pan at 350º
oven for a hour or so. then will drain add to bag.
when cool cut up some agar pieces and spread around
the bag then wait. i am soaking alder chips now.
hand and wrist are sore from cutting cardboard.
sucks to get old.. wish me luck lol

i hope i didnt mix shit up, as today, im not sure if it was the azurescens or the cyanescens, the one that is so tuff

if memory serves me right it was the cyanescens, the black tiny hawaiaiian extremly potent one, but also one of the harder to grow ones, they dont thrive well (if at all) , on brown rice substrate, they need like soil and poo as a substrate

and azurescens was (also above average potency) the tough, hardy one, the one that will grow anywhere, not giving a shit if you did sterilize or not - and is the "typical" outdoor variety

pardon me messing shit up, and confusing all, myself included

wishing you luck, but your strategy is the best approach, try it all out, and you will have a winning combo, i wouldnt be surprised if more than one method will give you fruits

regarding long term "storage" , honey is popular here, having all the anti microbial properties, honey will serve as a conservation substrate, giving you an ultimately infinite lifetime:
just mix in the powdered fruits, only downside is that you are stuck with sweet flavor, i mean like, some like to put their fruits on top a pizza

seeing already your fungi fields in front of my third eye, i might consider going a step further and extracting the active ingredients - tho i have not a single clue on how thats done, i could guess, but its better if you read on up about it
awoken the right way

got out a stock pot today. boiled the un popped popcorn for 10 min.
then put the wet wood chips in and boiled them for 5 or so min.
is still cooling.
i got my cardboard, egg cartons and some shredded brown bag
ready. dono if i will cook that also. but will use the drain off
water from the corn/chips pan to wet it down. is a lot i hope it
fits in a 2 1/2 gal ziplock. the monster spore bag.
after i mix i might wait a day to make sure bag contents are
not overly wet or dry.

ive read one trick when dealing with these raw elements
is to do your work first think in the morning

when air currents are the least in your room

less chance of random infection...
