i found i prefered to do it sooner than later
later is mostly advised but

its easier to get those budleafs when they are still soft and pliable

seems getting as much of those leaves out makes the dried buds better

I trim as I cull them. Save the trim for edibiles, lost interest in extracts, will use some for hash making once every couple of years. Dry trimming makes such a mess.

I always wet trim. Some strains you can just break the fan leaves off and it's a lot easier to hit the buds with the scissors with all those bud leaves poking out. Once dried, the bud leaves fold into the buds and the fan leaves need to really be plucked or cut. It's harder. Then there's the issue of mold if you leave lots of leaves on when it's humid, as it makes it a little harder to get airflow through.

Butt..... are the seeds still any good? Remember now. I like to experiment and test extremes. Research takes many moons and movement of the lights in the sky.
