The best scene isn't when Hecky "flew away" because he was ruined ( based on the real life tragedy of Philip Loeb ).
The best scene was exposing the blood sucking female ( played well by Marilyn Sokol ) at the Catskills resort ( echoed later on when his girlfriend discovers he's not a writer ). "The Front" is not just about putting on a phony face to work. It's about putting on a phony face to have any kind of normal functioning life in society that obvious hates life.
