Yes, it’s in my flower room inside the shop. Finally finished the shop this morning, paint on the floor is drying right now. I think it turned out nice.

Looks great. I've been puffin' DJ Short's BB, grown both outdoor and in, and after so long I gotta say it's still a winner. Good luck on finishing those.

A quick pic of the shop, it’s from the front door as I can’t walk in for 24hrs. I will update an older thread of mine about the shop fairly soon once I get my tools in place and get ready to start making things. The pic below is looking at the veg room from the front door.

Not sure bro, I got a free 3 pack of em when buying seed at a dispensary.

Interesting you bought Seeds from a dispensary and got free ones. Or gifted seeds

Cuz I was wondering the way California law was written about gifting it's ambiguous on gifting . it doesn't mention seeds or clones directly but can't have possession of more than 6 plants that would be seeds or Clones. And gifting only to the Limit , weight or plants and once. Which I thought would be a loophole to keep shops giving away seeds promotional.

I have no dispensaries near me so this is interesting news

The first grower that realizes there's a huge completely untapped market for legal to sell in rec states elite seeded buds will make some serious bank.

in a bud, yeah, thats how i like to store my seeds

so where are we mathematically ?

1 gram = 10 bucks
1 seed = 10 bucks
1 bud = 100 seeds

makes a really funny bud thats not cheap

like a limited edition, only 1 bud per customer, price 1000 dollars

i bet i will find customers, the margins are out of this world, and who didnt wanted to switch the comata location 3 digits to the other side of reality

who is with me on board for this great idea, i got some thousand beans left in the fridge, but i need somebody to fill em up with buds

deran figured it out quickly-

1 gram = 10 bucks
1 seed = 10 bucks
1 bud = 100 seeds

You failed the math quiz anu.

I like the look of the Killer Queen, too. How do they all smoke?

Diesel Blueberry

My favorite of these would be the Killer Queen. The smoke is very earthy and needs a good cure. But it has a good high and helps with pain. The smoothest would be the Tangerine Dream closely followed by the Mango Dream. Both have slight fruity undertones on the exhale. All are fairly potent but in my opinion the Killer Queen is the strongest of this bunch. The Tangerine Dream and Mango Dream being the largest yielders.

Tangerine Dream is nice, can't wait 'til our states go legal rec. It's really pretty amazing to go down to the pot shops and try almost any variety you want whenever you want all packaged up and ready to smoke.

Fire it up! Machine Lives Matter

Cannabis data lacking, but machine learning could help fill the gap

https://phys.org/news/2020-09-cannabis- ... e-gap.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Different flavonoids and terpenes can make seemingly similar varieties taste and smell different, and secondary cannabinoids may influence whether it's relaxing or stimulating, sedating or creativity-inspiring.

The only way to truly know what's in a variety is to measure the chemicals.

"But because regulations only require reporting on a few compounds like THC and CBD, there's very little data being collected on these other compounds or how they interact," said Vergara. "We're not getting the whole picture."

Variety names like Girl Scout Cookies or Gorilla Glue give the impression of standardization—buy it in one place and you'll get the same product as if you buy it elsewhere, many assume.

But that's often not the case, says study

Curiously, some varieties with the same name showed up in different clusters.

"This study reaffirms the misnaming of Cannabis varieties by the industry," the authors noted. "Strain name is not indicative of potency or overall chemical makeup."
Curious. I can't get out to the bud shops so has anyone experience difference between the same Variety in different shops or different times?

Absolutely,
It’s just like buying seed, I only try to buy from the original breeder, others will buy thier product and make seed that isn’t near the quality of the original. I have bought the same strain from several dispenseries that were nothing like the strain they represent.

Yes, definitely. There really were no defined standards going in from a completely unregulated market, and inevitably the chaos and opportunism carried on into the new regime. Some growers seem to consistently deliver product that seems true to type and others clearly don't. Fad strains of the month with high demand are probably where the greatest liberties are taken.

I've got two versions of Girl Scout Cookies here I've been smoking trying to tell how much difference is between them, or even if they're from the same clone. It's hard to tell, as they were grown by different people. That's what people sometimes forget: it's how you grow the same strain than can make the difference. Harvesting a week earlier or later can have quite an effect on the overall profile, as well as the light it was grown under. We've seen that with the same strains grown under different lights by the same grower using the same nutrients etc. It's no secret to those who grow.

Looking & sounding good OJ :volcano:

Turns out my GSC hermied & is very short on bud & full of (useless?) seeds. 1st time this has happened since my first BS grow a couple decades ago. All the years growin I never grew anything so purple, was excited too..oh well. Looks like the rest of my small crop is ok. I'm sure there's a few seeds here & there. Not really a problem since it's just personal stash. Maybe a little less yield.
I attempted to pollinate the Ice & the Bubbalicious with pollen from a BS male by using the paint brush method, one branch each. I used the BS pollen because the Ice & Bubba wouldn't drop their dust. Probably due to the cold temps in the house. One of the perils of cheapskate living... :frown:

Interesting cuz when I grew out some supposedly Afghan, very purple flowers too, also hermied bad. tho its progeny did make pretty pink flowers, bad smke, hermied, worthless, cut it out of my line. Only good thing was all the seeds, I kept em to take pictures when I needed show a lot of seeds, say in a background.

Personally I wouldn't trust those seeds.

Yeah I might just chuck the ones I tried to make too as there's probably going to be hermies mixed in & I don't wanna deal with that. The damn thing is a monstrosity atm. I might get a quarter ounce of bud after I remove it from the seeds.
