Thanks for the help Prawn I was also looking at this driver XLG-150-H-AB

XLG-150-H-AB

but is that too much run the three strips on? I stick with HIDs as they are easy :)

and I am old ;)

all the best

The XLG AB driver can be dimmed, so it will work. Also, 150W shouldn't exceed thr 172W maximum of three strips. XLGs are cheaper than HLGs but only come with a 5-year warranty. Oherwise it is a good choice.

You can stick to HIDs if you like, but LEDs are the future and outperform them already. I'm not that young, either any more, but I have learned to adapt. If LEDs didn't outperform HIDs, I wouldn't use them.

Use them. 8 strips per 4' x 2' frame is what you want to pair with each of those drivers.

Typical is 14W, but they can be maxed out to 28.7W each. I usually aim to run my strips at around 60-70% of max (around 1A at 20V per strip for your Bridgelux), which is a good combo of power and efficiency.

I can teach you how to read a spec sheet if you like, then you could work a lot of this out for yourself.

Thank you that would be great I asked at LEDGARDNER someone posted this

Strips... 4920 Lm, 180 Lm/W, 39 Vf, 0.7 Amps (1400 mA Max), 27.3 watts
4920 Lm * 3 = 14760 Lm, ~ 206.6 PPF (14760 * 0.014 PPF/Lm)
27.3 watts * 3 = 81.9 watts total
81.9 * 1.25 ( plus 25% ) = 102 Watts

but never said where the Values came from which would have been nice

ended finding two of these HLG-185H-24AB

https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... B/10659923" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and 21 of these BXEB-L0560Z-35E2000-C-B3

https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... B3/7907663" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

so what can we build to grow weed?

thank you so much for the education on LEDs it is helpful

all the best and be well
