flowering has begun already, looks like hydrangeas,
got a lot more of them to untangle from my old trellis net, lol
unknown.jpg
just a quick tip, to view images larger than the first click,
open in new tab and then click the +

the inside of the fence is lined with this 90% shade cloth, over 90' all the way around,
to keep any potential rippers from peeking through the slats:
s-l1600a.jpg
the whole place is like booby-trapped,
so if anyone tries to get to this at night,
they'll be in for some surprises.

getting a new automatic drip system
watering by hand is quite a chore and getting worse quickly

any thoughts on using this bug netting shown and described below?
hopefully it wouldn't inhibit growth?
s-l1600.jpg
1. Pest control: The insect net can basically block all kinds of insects, mosquitoes, pieris rapae, plutella xylostella, cabbage moth, prodenia litura, achillea, ape leaf insects, aphid. Significantly reduce the use of chemical pesticides. Can be used to grow pollution-free crops.
2. Regulate the temperature, soil temperature and humidity: Tests show insect nets help plants enjoy up to lower temperature. Also, it can effectively prevent frost. Insect net helps reduce the indoor precipitation and the indoor evaporation.
3. Block sunlight: Insect nets can shade to a certain degree and reduce the possible inhibition caused by the strong light.

That could be a bit of a double edged sword. If the attempt to conceal is obvious, that would attract the attention of many of the thieves I have known..."What are they trying to hide?"

Got a dog? They are a great deterrent.

smoking some 35% thc GMO Crasher now...
it was an excellent buy for only $60 per 1/4 oz before a 20% discount
"It’s a beautiful spacey high, thanks to Wedding Crasher and GMO. The vanilla inhale gives way to a minty exhalation in this sativa leaning hybrid. GMO Cookies is not a genetically modified organism but a cross between Chemdawg D and a GSC (formerly Girl Scout Cookies) Forum cut."

Wedding Crasher and GMO.
GMO is one of my favorite smokes. It's nice and distinct. I lost my damn cut.
The crasher sounds fucking STRONG.

P.S. Hopefully the heat fades for you. Nice job on the netting.
I don't use the nets but friends of mine do cast them over their berries

Did you mix any compost in soil?

no, just a lot of perlite and a little peat moss,
but the base was FoxFarm Ocean Forest Organic Potting Soil
"The Ocean Forest Potting Soil is perfect for containers and ready to use right out of the bag. Ocean Forest is pH adjusted at 6.3 to 6.8 to allow for optimum fertilizer uptake. There's no need for nitrogen fertilizers at first; instead try a blend like this to encourage strong branching and a sturdy, healthy growth habit. The Ocean Forest Potting Soil has everything your plants need, in one bag. Ocean Forest is a powerhouse blend of premium earthworm castings, bat guano, and Pacific Northwest sea-going fish and crab meal. Composted forest humus, sandy loam, and sphagnum peat moss give Ocean Forest its light, aerated texture. Start with Ocean Forest and watch your plants come alive!"

Munch I talk a lot of shit on FFOF so I am hopeful you prove me wrong.

I didn't know that's what you had used! The plants look so good I wouldn't have guessed.

I suppose that's because of the green thumbs eh :smoke:

I've always thought of FF as the best stuff around here.
but I believe the #1 super-important trick is adding a lot of perlite, like 30%, to improve drainage.
Another really good trick is watering in Maxicrop seaweed extract,
and Diamond Nectar humic (fulvic) acid in-between feedings.
