I've had both witbiers and wheat beers, but had not heard of hefeweizen....will have to keep my eye out for some.

Try the Weihenstephan hefe – they do a nice Dunkel as well. They were my favourite drops for a while. Different to the Belgian wheat beers like Chimay and Hoegaarden.

Wow Ben I'm surprised you have never taken the AC plunge.

Growing up it was weed and Budwiser on the daily, and lsd often, as it was usually around and cheap, maybe $5 a hit tops. Shrooms weren't as prevalent round here back then.

We used to do this stuff called Crank, might of been meth. It was like a moist powder that could melt, sometimes orange. It was some kinda speed & it burned the fuck outta your nose. I remember it was cheaper than coke. Never thought the high was overly impressive, a few cups of expresso too many!

Didn't start the cocaine until after high-school. Everything was all fun and games until coke shows up to stay...I went into the army because of the direction coke had taken things,... I'll just leave it at that. I've actually smoked some rocks within the last few years, luckily,, I can take it or leave it. Not too wise to be stressing the ol' 50+ year old heart though, so I'm pretty much done.

Never had any desire to inject anything, let alone heroin. Had a best friend who had Chron's real bad, for years. He had all the pain medication out there, let me try some opiates. Didn't care for the foggyness and not being able to keep my head up. Where's the fun in that?

If I could aquire some lsd I would do it. There's not much that's completely off the table for me personally, but needles and spoons aren't my thing.

I believe I've had their Korbinian Doppelbock.

There's not much that's completely off the table for me personally, but needles and spoons aren't my thing.

Injectables were never an option for me either.

Heroin is niiiiiiiiice. You could easily live your life on heroin and be a functioning member of society. If it were cheap, pure and correctly dosed by a dispensary, there would be almost no crime or deaths.

I like a beer if it's a really tasty craft...but usually I prefer something fruity and sweet.

I drink this pricy imported German beer of particular style Hefe Weisen. It's the closest to the stuff I discovered over there that was brewed by Lowenbrau. It's the milkshake of beers imo. Should have sweet yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle. You swish the bottle around to make sure you get all that into your glass. It's not watery like US swill and it's not thick and heavy like a Dopplebock, it's just right imo.
Franzenskaner is $11.99 - 12.99 a sixer around these parts.

It has undertones of banana and clove and vanilla.

Try Weinstephaner, it's the classic weiss and it's usually not too hard to find.
