my concern is it that might promote bud-rot...
should I get some big tarps or painters plastic to cover my plants?
and/or try to dry them with a leaf blower?
or just harvest early?

I'm thinking of an 8' x 8' x 8' pvc frame, maybe just 1/4" thick,
covered with a couple of 10' x 20' sheets of thin painter plastic drop sheets.
later I can swap out the clear cover, for mosquito net and maybe a black-out cover

if you decide to go with wood check out the 2x3's at your store
their only a little more that 2x2's but much better lumber and usually kiln dried unlike the 2x4's that cost twice as much...

if sealed will get to humid under the plastic.
some strains can make it thru rain.
