Was at the folks' for Easter dinner yesterday...bro picked up all dad's records.
What memories.
One album had "Deep Purple" on the cover.
I remember being so excited to find it as a child.
But it was not the band, it was the album/title track...imagine my dismay.
Oddly enough, the song is where the band drew their name from.



The other record I remember thinking would be good was a Three Dog Night 45...
...but what I got was...



Sure it was a #1 hit, but I was expecting rock 'n' roll.
