i cant believe anyone would try and up pot with those...
never heard of anyone using em though

only saw em last year,

the idea is that the shape forces all root end towards the holes out
where the sharp lost of soil humidity stops their growth

the pot self prunes root ends,
so they never circle the sides
and thus will branch into a greater percentage of the media inside

they look like 1/4 inch sheet metal screws (until I blew up the pic)... Looks like someone tried to get fancy with a new breed of net pot ta me... Wont the roots simply grow THROUGH the holes in the container?
