you get enough bullets in you
the start hitting bone
they start adding inpact force against your skelaton which usually only it deal with gravity
but the bullets chance everything
a couple hit bone and and it imparts a force opposing gravity
enough of them and you float for a couple seconds
but only a couple seconds
right after the debt shows and
you try not to died in the whats just happened
